The MD Paris 2026 mission series is now live in your Scanner. Twenty-four missions, one theme: the most iconic bridges of Paris.

• Complete 6 missions from the MD Paris 2026 series
• Between 00:00 and 23:59 on Sunday, 23 August 2026 (Paris local time)

⚠️ Watch out: the MD Paris 2015 missions are still sitting in the Scanner, and they will not count. Check the series name before you tap start.

🚶 Two ways to play

The short loop — stay around Île de la Cité and Île Saint-Louis. Six missions are packed within easy walking distance of one another. Ideal if you're bringing family along, or if the after-party was more generous than planned.

The long crossing — start at Pont de Sully, finish at Pont de Grenelle. The full west-bound sweep of the Seine, bridge after bridge. For the brave, the fresh-legged and the pleasantly stubborn.

🔑 Passcode on the Mission Day biocard

Your MD biocard carries a passcode that is only active during Mission Day itself — same window, 00:00 to 23:59 on 23 August. Don't burn it early, don't forget it late.

📸 Group photo & NL-1331 — 12:00

• Group photo at 12:00, next to portal NL-1331 (Champ de Mars)
• The NL-1331 would send you a little surprise if you hack it between 11:30 & 12:30.

Be early. Twelve o'clock means twelve o'clock, and the photographer will not wait for your fourth mission.

A word about bridges

Paris was built on an island. Which means Paris has always needed bridges.

Every one of the twenty-four you'll walk on Sunday was an answer to the same question: how do we get to the other side? Some are imperial and gilded, some are honest iron, one is a footbridge that exists for no reason other than letting people meet in the middle. That was always the point of them.

And Mission Day is the one day of this weekend where there is no other side. Blue and green walk the same routes, partners and kids come along, and the only thing anyone is really competing for is a decent photo and a good lunch spot. Twenty-four bridges, one river, one crowd.

So cross a few. And say hello to someone wearing the wrong colour.
