😀 Paris: Urban Amenities
🥳 Good news for everyone coming to Paris for the Anomaly: the city is exceptionally well equipped with free public toilets and free drinking water fountains, something that is, unfortunately, quite rare in most European cities.
Toilets: 🚾 Paris operates 435 free self-cleaning public toilets ("sanisettes") across the city, all free of charge since 2006. Their condition and cleanliness can vary quite a lot from one to another, but they have the great merit of existing and being free. 🌳 You'll also find toilets in parks, gardens and along the Seine quays.
Water: 🇮🇶 The city has more than 1,200 free drinking water fountains in the streets, parks and woods, maintained by Eau de Paris. The water is exactly the same as tap water and is strictly quality-controlled. Bring a reusable bottle and refill it for free all day long, perfect during August heat. ✨ Some fountains even serve free sparkling water!
